Haml ( not updated )

Why?

Haml introduces a whole new markup syntax that's visually more appealing than erb or other popular template systems but fully functional. Haml converts this:

<div id="profile">
  <div class="left column">
    <div id="date"><%= print_date %></div>
    <div id="address"><%= current_user.address %></div>
  </div>
  <div class="right column">
    <div id="email"><%= current_user.email %></div>
    <div id="bio"><%= current_user.bio %></div>
  </div>
</div>

into this:

#profile
  .left.column
    #date= print_date
    #address= current_user.address
  .right.column
    #email= current_user.email
    #bio= current_user.bio

Installation Steps

Step 1
Put this in your config/environment.rb

config.gem 'haml'

Step 2
Then install it:

sudo rake gems:install
rake gems:unpack GEM=haml

And that's it!.
